Established in the summer of 1974, A-1 Port-A-Can has been providing exceptional portable sanitation solutions for decades, thanks to the innovative vision of our neighbor and dear friend, Donald Gill. Starting with just 10 homemade portable toilets crafted from 55-gallon drums and plywood, Donald laid the foundation for a business that would soon flourish. Recognizing the growing demand, he expanded the inventory by acquiring 20 high-quality fiberglass Booney brand portable toilets, setting the stage for future growth.

In July of 1987, the baton was passed to Sam Bailey, my father, who ambitiously drove the company forward. Under his stewardship, A-1 Port-A-Can saw its inventory swell from approximately 50 portable toilets to an impressive count of over 125, alongside the addition of 2 dedicated service trucks. I, David Bailey, returned home in April of 2014 to lend a hand in the family business, further solidifying our commitment to providing top-notch portable sanitation services.

Following my father's passing in October 2022, my wife, Renita and I have had the privilege of leading A-1 Port-A-Can into its next chapter. Today, our fleet boasts over 200 portable toilets, 25 hand wash stations, 15 holding tanks, and 4 service trucks, ensuring we're more equipped than ever to meet the diverse needs of our clients. A-1 Port-A-Can stands as a testament to enduring family values and a relentless drive for excellence in the portable sanitation industry.
